AYAZ GAMBARLI (AZ)

Ayaz Gambarli, born in 1984 in Baku, Azerbaijan. He entered National Music Conservatory, in 1999. That year Pr. Arif Melikov was invited to the NMC to teach temporarily and using this chance Ayaz offered him his preludes composed some years ago and Arif Melikov likes these compositions. After this occasion, Ayaz entered to Arif Melikov’s class at Composition Department of Baku Musical Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyov, in 2003.
Awarded with Diploma of IV International pre-Art Competition 2005 for his “Alone” (flute, oboe, accordeon, piano) composition.
Attended International “Omnibus-Laboratorium” Masterclasses by Victor Rasgado (Mexico) and Stefan Schlärmacher (Germany) presenting his “Waltz from an Old Gramophone” (second edition: flute, clarinet, piano, violin, cello) in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (2008)
Attended IX International Forum “Music of Youth” with his “Waltz from an Old Gramophone” (second edition: flute, clarinet, piano, violin, cello) in Kiev, Ukraine (2008)
